Thrive Week Friday: Environmental Health

Join us throughout the week of March 6-10 for Thrive! Each day features themed events at NIC campuses open to all students and employees. Friday, March 10 is Environmental Health. 

Campbell River

Forest Walk: Meet at the main campus entrance at 12pm for a 45 minutes forest walk with NIC instructor Sandra Milligan.

Participants of the walk are eligible for a $25 grocery gift card prize draw! 

Colouring and Activity Sheets: Engage in some mindful relaxation available all day in the Student Commons.

Library & Learning Commons: Visit the library to check out Thrive displays and participate in self-guided, relaxing activities.

Wildflower seeds at LLC: Pick up a package of wildflower seeds to add to a Thrive-ing garden.

Comox Valley

Forest Bathing: Join instructor Mac Newton from 11:45am-12:45pm on walk through the forest with this mindful experience immersed in nature. The walk starts outside the Stan Hagen Theatre at Komoux Hall.
