This course is for those working towards their Master Limited (60 T), Fishing Master IV, Mate 150 GT or Watchkeeping Mate, Fishing Vessel. Students will learn to plan and conduct safe navigation, understand and make use of various navigation-related publications, determine a ship's position and keep required records. This comprehensive 12 day course prepares mariners for writing the Transport Canada exam, Chartwork & Pilotage 1 (CP1), on the final day of the course.
