Journeying Together is NIC’s first Indigenous-serving internationalization plan which grew from NIC’s Indigenous Education plan, Working Together. It places Indigenous students, employees and their communities at its heart and will shape and guide NIC’s work for many years to come.
It has been supported in its development by the Office of Indigenous Education, NIC Elders and the Indigenous Education Council. It provides a place to reflect and reshape the learning and experiences of visiting international students, both Indigenous and non-Indigenous, many of whom come from colonial systems with different histories and responses.
