Student and employee expectations
Safety on campus is all of our responsibility. All students and employees must follow the procedures outlined in the plan.
To ensure everyone’s safety, students and employees must:
- Stay home when you are sick. Students and employees should pre-screen on a daily basis, and if you are feeling any flu-like symptoms, stay home.
- Wash your hands. Hand hygiene is one of our biggest defenses against COVID-19.
- Non-medical masks are strongly recommended when it is not possible to consistently maintain a two-metre distance from others, including common areas or whenever safety plans require them.
- Read NIC’s COVID-19 Safety Plan. Familiarize yourself with the controls that are in place.
Safety in the classroom
