Welcome graduates of 2023!

The Graduation Ceremony is the highlight of the college year. It is a day to celebrate your success, to look back on how far you’ve come, to consider your next steps, to acknowledge the people who have helped you along the way and consider how you might pay it forward. It is our honour to celebrate this day with you.

Campbell River Graduation Ceremony 2023

Date: Thursday, June 15, 2023

Time: 1 pm and 6:30 pm

Location: Campbell River Campus Student Commons

Comox Valley Graduation Ceremony 2023

Date: Wednesday, June 19, 2023

Time: 10 am and 2 pm

Location: Sid Williams Theatre

The number of guests you may invite is limited to two (2) per graduate due to the size of the ceremony venue. Based on the number of final graduates registered there may be the opportunity for additional invitations. More information will be provided in the graduation information email that will be sent to you NIC email in late May.

Port Alberni Graduation Ceremony 2023

Date: Tuesday, June 13, 2023

Time: 1 pm

Location: Alberni Athletic Hall

Mixalakwila Graduation Ceremony 2023

Students must register to participate in the 2023 Graduation ceremonies by April 28, 2023.

Download the Student Registration & Regalia Order Form or pick up a copy from Student Services. Complete the form and drop it off at the Student Services/Registration Office at your local campus.

A $35 fee is due at time of registration. Payment may be made in person with a debit card, cheque, credit card, cash, or by mail with a cheque only. The deadline to register is April 28, 2023. For more information, contact Darin Bellham at darin.bellham@nic.bc.ca or 250-334-5038.

Regalia must be returned after the ceremonies. Students will be responsible for any charges incurred due to damage or late return.

Please arrive an hour before the ceremony starts to coordinate gowns and photos.

Graduates will be ushered into the ceremony to reserved seats. Your guests are welcome to celebrate your important day with you. Masks are optional within the facility.

Fill out the Application for Credentials to receive your credentials. All NIC certificate and diploma graduates will receive their credentials by mail.

Keep your address current online via myNIC or mail or fax the Change of Address Form to the Registrar at your campus.
