NIC Student Recruiters will work with you to help you navigate the world of post-secondary and find the right program fit for you. Whether you’re interested in academic programs, upgrading or trades training, or if you’re still deciding what your journey will entail, they can help you chart your path and meet your goals.
Meet our NIC Student Recruiters to discuss program options, how to navigate the post-secondary system, how to apply and our admissions process.
NIC Student Recruiters can also arrange classroom or workshop tours and a meeting with a current student and instructor.
Sherryl is a life-long learner. Before joining NIC in 2008, she spent time driving horse-drawn carriages in Victoria and then sleighs and wagon rides at Sun Peaks Resort. She has worked as a health care aide at extended care facilities and also spent time as an office manager and adventure tour trip coordinator.
Moving to Kamloops in 2015 made it possible to complete her bachelor of arts in general studies at Thompson Rivers University and then her master of education degree in 2021. She has San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training and is currently enrolled in UBC’s Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education MOOC. Sherryl found her way back to NIC in 2021 and enjoys connecting people with the courses and programs at NIC and beyond!
