Campbell River Campus
Renae is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational and career goals while supporting them as they navigate the world of post-secondary. Holding a Master of Education degree from the University of British Columbia, Renae specialized in Higher Education focusing her studies on student support services and engagement. Based out of NIC’s Campbell River campus, Renae supports students from Campbell River, Gold River and the North Island. During her free time, Renae loves hiking with her dog Scout, camping, surfing, exploring the island's many beaches and, at the end of the day, visiting with friends and family over delicious food!
Comox Valley Campus
Danielle is passionate about learning. Prior to becoming a recruiter for North Island College, Danielle worked as a community based literacy practitioner and coordinator, an intercultural international youth program supervisor and an international active travel guide. Danielle spends much of her free time with her husband and two daughters, Maya and Avery, in the woods, on the ski hill and on the soccer field. Danielle also loves to read and is learning to play the guitar. Danielle has a Masters of Adult Education and Community Studies and a Bachelor of Science. One of her favorite quotes is from Dr. Seuss: “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
