This is an exciting opportunity for continuing students to help new international students settle and adjust to life in Canada and at NIC.
Many of you offer this kind of help already to your fellow students, but this program provides formal training, workshop retreats, a letter of reference, certification and will provide you with resume-boosting formal experience.
Peer mentors will need to be available to meet with students virtually using cellphone and laptop platforms in order to connect with their mentee.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in a one-day training seminar, mentor their assigned students one-on-one and organize student group socials through the semester.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and application forms.
