NIC Spotlight: NIC nursing students want Comox Valley residents to give more blood this fall

A group of NIC fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing students are asking for your support in increasing blood donation numbers.

The students are working with the Canadian Blood Services to promote awareness of upcoming blood donation clinics:

Nov 6 – 8: K’ómoks First Nation Band Hall, 3320 Comox Road

Jan 2 – 3: the Florence Filberg Centre, 411 Anderton Avenue

“There is an ongoing need for new blood donors in BC,” said NIC BSN student Emma Paul. “Giving blood is easy and takes very little time. We’re hoping to encourage our fellow students and members of the community to make an appointment to donate.”

NIC is a Partner for Life with the Canadian Blood Services. Your donation can count towards NIC’s annual blood donation pledges.
