Ann is the author of 13 books and is best known for her historical fiction, based in British Columbia. She is a winner of the Canadian Children’s Book Center Our Choice Award, the Forest of Reading Golden Oak Award, and was a Canadian Library Association Notable selection. She was shortlisted for the Forest of Reading Silver Birch Award and the B.C. Book Prize. She lives in Victoria.
Ann will be reading from one of her novels, and will be discussing her writing process, her experience of being an author, and some history of Northern BC. Some books will be for sale after the event, and author signing of books will also be available after the event.
