NIC in the News: NIC electrical apprenticeship students receive training session at Campbell River Airport

Fourth-level NIC electrical apprenticeship students got a close-up look at airport lighting systems, thanks to a tour and training session at Campbell River Airport earlier this month.

The Campbell River Airport is the only fully operational facility that hosts hands-on airport electrical training in Canada.

The 20 NIC students had a chance to learn about specialized equipment and information as part of a five-day airfield lighting maintenance course.
