NIC Faculty: Shaping futures and building community
Play audio:
For 50 years, North Island College faculty have helped shape the lives of students and the future of the communities we serve.
They are not only instructors – they’re mentors, leaders and innovators. They also bring real-world expertise, personal attention and deep community connection to every classroom, lab, studio and trades shop.
With about 250 instructors across disciplines, from trades to health care, business to fine arts, NIC faculty create learning experiences that help students become confident and labour market ready. With smaller class sizes and a culture of care, they’ve guided thousands to discover their potential and achieve their goals.
Whether it’s guiding future welders or inspiring early childhood educators, NIC instructors shape lives and build futures.
As we mark our 50th anniversary, we recognize and thank our faculty who have built and carried the college’s vision forward by making a difference, one student at a time.
