International Student Programs
NIC offers a variety of programs open to international students that provide valuable skills and education.
Work in Canada after graduation
Programs marked as Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) eligible below meet the field of study requirements for the PGWP in Canada. This allows NIC graduates to apply for a PGWP after graduating from their program. PGWP holders can stay in Canada temporarily and gain valuable work experience. Completing a PGWP-eligible program may qualify you for a PGWP, but Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) determines final eligibility. Learn more about the Post-Graduation Work Permit.
Please note: the list of Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) codes associated to programs that allow PGWP eligibility, as posted by IRCC, is subject to change.
We recommend checking if your program remains PGWP-eligible under the latest requirements on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) page.
