Overview
The Health Science Diploma is a two-year program that builds a strong foundation in health science while offering flexibility for future studies or careers. With the right electives, you can transfer to advanced programs like the Island Pre-Health Science (IPH) Advanced Diploma, an Associate of Science degree or University Studies. After the first year you may earn a Foundations in Health Science certificate as an additional credential.

Requirements and courses
Study pathways
With the right electives, the Health Science Diploma makes transferring to university seamless. You can pursue degrees like a BSc in Biology or Life Sciences at most BC universities or a BHSc in Biomedical Studies at SFU, KPU or UNBC.
If you choose other electives, transfer options expand to degrees like:
- UVic dual general degrees in Biology and Health and Society
