Overview

The framework for the Indigenous Language Fluency Certificate will support the infusion of culture into language learning and draw on local fluent elders and knowledge keepers.  

You'll learn: 
  • A multi-disciplinary, intergenerational approach to understanding the link between language, culture and wellness, providing a pathway to healing
  • You'll expand your skills in reconciliation, language revitalization
  • Technology to support language learning
  • An intermediate level of proficiency in Indigenous languages during the first year of the program with the opportunity to apply your language skills
