Meredith McEvoy is a registered social worker with a Master of Social Work, specializing
in social justice and diversity from the University of Toronto (2011). Meredith joined
NIC as a sessional instructor in 2016 and became a regular faculty member in 2023.
Meredith has a background working in community-based child, youth and family mental
health including at the Pine River Institute, the John Howard Society of Peterborough,
and most recently at Hornby Denman Health. Meredith also works part-time in NIC's
Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation.
