From our island campuses to far-reaching international partnerships, NIC continues to open doors, build connections and create impactful opportunities across cultures, as well as continents.

The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) supports students and employees in seeing themselves as part of a broader world. The OGE team not only welcomes people from around the world, but also help NIC students experience new cultures through field schools and exchanges.

For its dedication to global learning, OGE  recognized nationally in 2023 with a Canadian Bureau for International Education award for Excellence in Global Education. This is a reflection of NIC’s commitment to equity, innovation and impact.

As North Island College celebrates 50 years of serving students and communities, global engagement has become an essential part of who we are. Together, we’re shaping a global future, one student at a time.
