Eight students are the first to graduate from a new Vancouver Island program that helps give Indigenous students the skills they need to enter the booming film and TV industry.

Health care assistant and NIC alum Stu MacInnis is going viral, thanks to videos on TicTok. MacInnis was interviewed by Comox Valley Record reporter Erin Haluschak for the Off the Page podcast.

BCcampus has highlighted collaborative projects involving NIC, which support student wellness and safer campuses.  

North Island College has signed two Memorandums of Understanding in support of Indigenization, sharing of knowledge and study abroad between Vancouver Island and Hawaiʻi.

North Island College is in the early stages of the RFP (Request for Proposals) process for its student housing commons project, which will include 217 beds for students. This number will include 20 suites for families with a total of 60 beds.
