NIC's Department of Accessible Learning is offering the new Employment Transition Kitchen Assistant training program, starting in January.

The 25-week program is being offered in Campbell River and Port Alberni and is designed for students with diverse learning needs to prepare them for jobs in the food service industry.

"It's wonderful to watch students gain confidence in their skills in the kitchen and discover the joy of cooking," said Chef Al Irving, NIC culinary instructor.
