Cuba
May to June 2026
This program invites students from Canadian colleges to join an ecological restoration program. It weaves together environmental stewardship with the living culture and landscapes of Cuba. Students will reflect on our responsibilities as global citizens and learn how caring for the land, waters and all living beings is critical to sustaining life.
The field school combines classroom learning and hands-on activities. You'll explore Cuba's diverse ecosystem, from its lush forests to the coral reefs at Playa Larga. You'll also build relationships with local knowledge keepers and communities. This journey encourages students to learn from others in caring for the earth with respect and cooperation.
Challenge your perspective, strengthen your connection to the environment and take home lessons that'll help you care for and protect the natural world.
